A new, powerful scientific tool at the disposal of the Court Authorities to identify perpetrators of criminal acts, the generic portrait robot. This is a method allowing the specification of the external characteristics of an individual, such as eye and hair colour and skin type, as well as geographical origin. Even though our external characteristics often depend on other factors, such as hair dye, hairdo, use of glasses or contact lenses, diet, these data are a particularly significant aid for the authorities, pointing their investigation to the right direction.
