Molecular PCR test Covid-19

Molecular PCR Test for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 virus at DNAlogy laboratories is performed easily, quickly and safely, according to the international standards of the World Health Organization (WHO) and presents 100% specificity and sensitivity.

Sampling is performed by obtaining a nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal smear as well as with the new innovative method of gargling sampling.

The exam is based on the detection of viral genetic material (mRNA) and investigates at least 2 of the following genes: N, S & Orf1ab. Molecular detection of viral genes by Real-Time RT-PCR method at DNAlogy laboratories has a minimum detection limit of 5 RNA copies and includes 40-45 cycles. This method detects the main variants of the virus:
