DNAlogy carries out DNA analysis of the samples received. The results allow verification of the genetic fingerprints of the individuals from whom the samples actually originated.

The results of this analysis are for personal use and cannot be used as evidence before courts. If you would like an official expert opinion, contact our company for additional information.

The customer confirms that the samples provided to us have come legally to his possession. The customer allows DNAlogy to use the samples for the purposes of the analysis ordered and releases it from all liability, any claims including claims for damages to third parties, due to the illegal acquisition and use of the samples.

DNAlogy assumes liability vis-a-vis the customer for all possible damages caused in the assignment of the order intentionally or negligently. However, the compensation in these cases is only the amount of DNAlogy’s agreed remuneration.

DNAlogy conducts DNA analysis and results analysis in accordance with international technical rules. DNAlogy assumes responsibility in case of finding deficiencies in the conduct of the overall procedure, by repeating the analyses at no cost to the customer. Customers ordering tests have the right to cancel the contract only if the repetition of the test fails due to deficiencies found in the conduct of the overall procedure.

For reference sampling: The customer is obliged, in case of sampling using the kit, to carry out the sampling by faithfully following the saliva sampling instructions included in the kit. If DNA analyses do not yield any results due to an insufficient amount of biological material or other cause, the procedure may be repeated by resampling and subject to a total additional charge according to the price list.

For alternative samples: If DNA analyses do not yield any results due to an insufficient amount of biological material or DNA, the procedure may be repeated using an alternative sample and subject to a total additional charge according to the price list.

In case of cancellation of the order before the start of the analyses, the amount of EUR 200 is charged additionally. The order can no longer be cancelled after the sample analysis assessment has started and no refund is possible.

DNAlogy notifies the results of the analysis (according to the method selected) solely to the customer, who entrusted the samples and within the shortest possible time period. No prosecution may be brought in the event of late delivery of the results.

Commercial and legal relations between DNAlogy and its customer are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Athens and the application of Greek law is agreed.

  • By cash upon receipt of the sampling kit at your place. The service is provided at an additional cost depending on the region. (The payment on delivery option applies only to orders from Greece and Cyprus)
  • By charging your credit or debit card on our website using a fully protected transaction system. The cards accepted are Visa and MasterCard. For the safety of our customers the transaction system is managed directly by Alpha Bank. DNAlogy has no access to the bank card information used in the transaction.

DNAlogy uses either a courier company or a postal service for the shipments of orders, the cost of which is determined during the order and depends on the place of delivery and the shipping method chosen by the customer. Shipment is made on the same or the next business day of the order.

The customer assumes the costs and responsibility for returning the samples to our company in the appropriate packaging contained in the sampling kit

The delivery time of the sampling kit depends on the place and manner of its shipment.

Typically, the delivery time for courier shipments is set at 1-2 days, while with postal service at 3-5 days. The delivery time of orders by postal service depends on the transfer times within the country of destination as defined by the Postal Service of each country.

“My Account” feature is for managing your shopping cart, reviewing your previous orders, and editing your profile and information. In particular:

Dynamic shopping cart where you will be able to see details of all the items you have selected so far. Details include: Number of items, name, cost per item, quantity per item, product code and total order cost.

Previous orders

Collective list of previous orders with total cost and order number. If you like you will be able to simply click on one of them to see the detailed presentation with items corresponding to the shopping cart, as it was configured in that order and you will be able to choose products immediately and quickly from those you ordered in the past, without having to search for them again within the respective product categories or ranges.

DNAlogy does not transmit the personal data of the Customer/User outside the EU or to third parties. Exceptionally, details of the customer’s address and contact details are given to a courier company in order to allow customer’s order and/or relevant results to be sent, if the Customer so wishes.

DNAlogy keeps the Customer/User’s personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected unless an extension of that time is required due to legal claims or legal obligations of DNAlogy.

The Customer/User has the right of Access, Correction, Deletion/ Right to Oblivion, Portability, Restriction of processing, Objection and Withdrawal of their consent to the processing of their personal data, which may be exercised by submitting a request to the headquarters of DNAlogy (Vouliagmenis Ave. 98, Glyfada) or by emailing info@dnalogy.eu for attention of the Data Protection Officer (DPO).
