DNAlogy laboratories are staffed with Forensic DNA Experts, registered in the lists kept in Greek courts and are accredited with the ELOT EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 quality management system.
For legal DNA testing, all participants should initially give their consent for sampling. A Forensic DNA Expert is then responsible for their identification through documents presented (IDs, passports, birth certificates etc.) and proceeds to the sampling procedure either himself or via the “on-line sampling procedure”. Each report issued by DNAlogy for legal use is signed by two DNA Experts.
According to the current European guideline regarding reliability of DNA analysis results, laboratories performing DNA analyses should be accredited with the ELOT EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 quality management system in order to produce reliable results which can be accepted by the authorities. DNAlogy laboratories have been accredited by the National Accreditation System for all DNA analyses conducted for legal use (biological material detection, DNA analysis and identification, biological relationship testing 1st-6th degree).
